Booking with this agency was *not* worth the price tag. This was my first time booking through a travel agency, and I had been following The Wind Collective for a while. But after this experience, I won’t be supporting them again. I’m all for supporting businesses, especially small or creative ones. I’m not the type to leave negative reviews—but when you're spending over $4K on a trip, you expect clear communication. That never happened. I booked this trip in October and had to follow up constantly just to get basic updates. On February 13th, I emailed Richard asking if the trip was still happening since there were still 9 open spots and literally no communication besides the welcome email and payment confirmations. He got back to me six days later, confirmed it was happening, and said the trip lead would contact us within the week. That was March 1st. The trip started March 20th. The trip lead (Hilton, the founder of Visit South America) never reached out. Instead, we got an email 11 days before we departed from a travel assistant named Jeff, saying he’d ensure the trip ran smoothly. I kept messaging for itineraries and accommodation info… they sent it two days before we left. TWO. DAYS. BEFORE. This trip ended up being remotely enjoyable because of our host, David, who was added last minute (like... very last minute). That’s how messy this whole thing was—there's more to this but I'll leave it at. On top of that, there was a visually impaired woman in our group who wasn’t properly accommodated or supported during the trip. She even texted Cle (the founder of Wind Collective, someone she knows personally) to share how rough the experience had been—and he ignored her. One of my friends later told me, “People who've done trips with them before always say they care more about the content than the people.” That hit. And honestly… that’s exactly how it felt. At our welcome dinner, I voiced these concerns to Jeff. He apologized and admitted they’d been swamped with other trips, reschedules, and cancellations—apparently, ours was even on the chopping block at one point, but they pushed forward so they wouldn’t get a bad rep. (Guess how that turned out?) I told him point-blank: they should’ve communicated that and let us decide if we still wanted to go. I would’ve GLADLY taken my $4K back and given it to David directly. This trip was maybe worth $1,500—max. David and our drivers deserved every dollar. Cle and whoever else is running this show? Absolutely not. And for anyone doubting my experience: I’ve got receipts. Emails, WhatsApp convos—feel free to ask. Bolivia is a beautiful country, but the itinerary and the agency didn't do it justice. Outside of the poor experience with these agencies, I didn't allow it to deter my creativity and love for nature/adventure. If anyone wants an incredible experience in Bolivia, please let me know, and I'll connect you with the right individuals!

This trip was amazing. From beginning to end it was countless memories being made. Our tour guide, Aya, was amazing. She made sure we had anything needed and provided an expanded itinerary that was accommodating. I will definitely looking forward to returning to Japan and also a next Wind Collective trip!

This trip was action-packed, eye-opening, fun, and so rewarding. The best part of it was the people—those who traveled with us, and those we met along the way—which really speaks to Svenja and Clé's ability to draw a really special and inviting creative community. Thank you so much for the good times <3

Indian 2024 was my second trip with Windcollective and it won’t be my last. The itineraries are well thought out, the hotels are a vibe, and there always seems to be a great group of people on these trips! Highly recommend!

Traveled with Cle and the wind collective to India for Holi. What an amazing trip, I’ll have a lifetime of memories! A very special curated trip with local cultural immersion, adventure (rafting) and historical site seeing with local knowledgeable guides. Cle is friendly, and outgoing and a genius behind the lens. Can’t wait to book my next trip!

Overall, Samora demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. He was able to re-strategize and turn what would have been deemed as stressful situations (i.e.: the shortage and suspension of Suica cards and lost then delayed luggage) into a learning environment for our travel group. His positive attitude reflected on us as a group and even locals we’d meet throughout the trip. I’d highly recommend going to Japan with Samora and The Wind Collective as your hosts! So far, this has been the best international trip. We look forward to visiting Japan again in the future.
